Getting Started

How do I sign up my school for TargetGrade?

You can sign up your school by visiting our school signup page and completing the registration form. We'll review your application and contact you within 24-48 hours to set up your account.

What information do I need to provide during signup?

You'll need basic school information including school name, contact details, school type, education level, student count, curriculum system, and preferred academic year start date.

How long does the setup process take?

Initial setup typically takes 2-3 business days after your application is approved. Our team will guide you through the onboarding process step by step.

Can I try TargetGrade before committing to a full subscription?

Yes! We offer a demo session where you can explore the platform's features. You can book a demo through our website or contact our sales team.

User Management

How do I add teachers and students to the platform?

School administrators can bulk import users via CSV upload or add them individually through the admin dashboard. We provide templates and support for data migration from existing systems.

What user roles are available in TargetGrade?

We support multiple roles including School Admin, Staff, Teachers, Students, and Parents*. Each role has specific permissions and access levels tailored to their needs. *Depending on your subscription plan, see /pricing for details.

Can parents access their child's progress?

Yes, parents can access a dedicated parent portal to view their child's academic progress, attendance, assignments, and communicate with teachers.

How do students log in to the platform?

Students can log in using their school-provided credentials or through single sign-on (SSO) if your school has it configured. We also support social login options where appropriate.

What curriculum systems does TargetGrade support?

We support major international curricula including IB (International Baccalaureate), Cambridge IGCSE, American Common Core, British National Curriculum, and can customize for local curricula.

Can I create custom assignments and assessments?

Absolutely! Teachers can create custom assignments, quizzes, and assessments using our built-in tools. We also provide templates and a question bank to get you started quickly.

Does TargetGrade integrate with other educational tools?

We do not yet integrate with any learning platform.

Is there a mobile app available?

Our platform is fully responsive and works great on mobile browsers. Native mobile apps for iOS and Android are currently in development and will be available soon.

Security & Privacy

How secure is my school's data on TargetGrade?

We take security very seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, we use secure cloud infrastructure, and we're compliant with major educational privacy regulations including FERPA and COPPA.

Who can access student data?

Access to student data is strictly controlled. Only authorized school personnel with appropriate permissions can access student information. We maintain detailed audit logs of all data access.

Where is my data stored?

Data is stored in secure, geographically distributed data centers with multiple backups. We can accommodate data residency requirements for schools in specific regions.

What happens to our data if we cancel our subscription?

You retain full ownership of your data. We provide data export tools and will assist with data migration. After account closure, data is securely deleted according to our data retention policy.

How is TargetGrade priced?

Are there any setup or implementation fees?

Setup and basic onboarding are included in your subscription. Additional implementation services like data migration or custom integrations may have separate fees.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and can accommodate purchase orders for institutional billing. Annual payments receive a discount.

Can we upgrade or downgrade our plan?

Yes, you can adjust your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades typically take effect at your next billing cycle.

All subscriptions include email support, comprehensive documentation, video tutorials, and access to our knowledge base. Higher-tier plans include priority support and phone assistance.

Do you provide training for teachers and staff?

Yes! We offer live training sessions, recorded webinars, and self-paced learning modules. We can also provide on-site or virtual training sessions for your team.

How can I report a bug or request a feature?

You can report issues or suggest features through our support portal, or contact us directly. We actively review all feedback and regularly update the platform based on user needs.

What are your support hours?

Our support team is available Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM in your local timezone. We also provide emergency support for critical issues outside of business hours.
